Song Title graphic: "Where No One Had Known Her"

The real world is slipping

Don’t you know?

I’ve reached my decision

But I’m not sure how

You need a love

You look like love

I’m counting on you

You’ve got a funny secret

No man can break

But you still need someone

Why do you have to be so beautiful?

More than you should

But you’re just a green horizon

And I don’t know if that’s good

You need a love

You look like love

I’m counting on you

You’ve got a funny secret

No man can break

But you still need someone

The real world is slipping

Don’t they know?

I’ve reached my decision

But I’m not sure how

THE REAL WORLD IS SLIPPING is a song about love and secrets.  They never seem compatible.   You wonder how any romance ever gets off the ground in our modern world.  It seems that life just gets so lonely for many, and what’s the reason?  You have to be open, and not a secret holder.  No matter what the age, it’s far easier just to ignore what’s around you than to take the risk.  It’s easier to put your head down and to just work hard, or play.   It’s a comfort zone, and it‘s quite populated.
